The small racing sailboats, often referred to as class boats or club boats and one design boats, developed around the turn of the last century. Through the primary vision of Yacht Clubs along the Eastern Seaboard, wonderful fleets of small sailboats were created combining the efforts of these clubs, yacht designers and boatbuilders. I have collected a variety of class boat designs that I feel would make a sensible and safe daysailer. each with a unique history in New England waters.
